By accessing or using Chivalry Test (the "Site"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the Site.

Chivalry Test is a free, browser-based character assessment. It presents you with scenario-based and self-reflection questions, calculates scores across six dimensions (Honor, Justice, Courage, Courtesy, Compassion, and Accountability), and provides a summary of your results.

This test is designed for personal reflection and educational purposes. It is not a clinical, psychological, medical, or legal evaluation. The results do not constitute professional advice of any kind. Do not use them as a basis for hiring decisions, medical treatment, legal proceedings, or any consequential action without consulting a qualified professional.

You agree to use the Site in good faith and for its intended purpose. You may not:

• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, etc.) to access the Site in a way that places unreasonable load on our infrastructure.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the scoring algorithms beyond what is publicly available.
• Reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Site's content, design, or quiz questions without written permission.
• Misrepresent the results as a certified, clinical, or professional assessment.

All content on this Site — including the quiz questions, scoring methodology, text, graphics, and overall design — is the property of Chivalry Test or its contributors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may share your personal results, but you may not copy the test questions or scoring system for use in your own products without permission.

The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the Site will be error-free, uninterrupted, or completely secure. We make no warranties — expressed or implied — about the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of the assessment results.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chivalry Test and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site. This includes, but is not limited to, damages for loss of data, loss of profits, or personal injury, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

The Site is hosted on Vercel and may use third-party services for analytics. Your use of such third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of any third party.

We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to the Site for anyone who violates these terms, at our sole discretion and without prior notice.

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first; if that fails, through binding arbitration in a mutually agreed jurisdiction.
