Privacy Policy

Chivalry Test ("we", "us", or "the site") is a free, browser-based character assessment. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have. Short version: we collect very little and we don't sell any of it.

When you take the test, your answers are processed entirely in your browser to calculate your scores. We do not store your individual quiz responses on any server. Once you close or refresh the page, your answers are gone.

We use Vercel Analytics to understand general usage patterns — things like page views, approximate geographic region, device type, and browser. This data is aggregated and anonymous. It does not include your quiz answers, your IP address, or anything that could identify you personally.

The site uses a minimal cookie to remember your theme preference (light or dark mode). We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party cookies.

The analytics data we collect is used for two purposes only:

• Understanding which parts of the site people use so we can improve them.
• Monitoring site performance and fixing technical issues.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any form of automated decision-making.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your data to anyone. The only third-party service that receives any data is Vercel (our hosting and analytics provider), which processes aggregated, anonymous usage metrics under its own privacy policy.

Quiz responses are not stored at all — they exist only in your browser's memory during your session. Analytics data is retained by Vercel for up to 90 days in aggregated form.

Since we don't collect personal data, there is typically nothing to request deletion of. However, if you believe we have any of your information and want it removed, or if you have questions about this policy, contact us at cuishunbiao@gmail.com.

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with any data, please reach out and we will address it promptly.

If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we may also add a notice on the homepage. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
